Dwarf Willow on Rock - Greenland

Salix herbacea (Dwarf Willow, Least Willow or Snowbed Willow) is a species of very low growing creeping willow. They often grow up and over rocks like this if one is nearby as the rock provides extra warmth which it retains from the sun and also some shelter from the wind.
